How to Secure Your Office Wi-Fi Network

10 June 2026 · 6 min read

Office Wi-Fi is often the weakest link in a small business network. A default password or an unpatched router can expose files, cameras and billing systems.

Use WPA3 (or WPA2-AES at minimum), change all default administrator credentials and disable WPS. Keep router and access point firmware updated.

Separate guest traffic onto its own SSID and VLAN so visitors never share the network with your accounting or CCTV systems.

Add a business firewall for content filtering and VPN access, and review connected devices periodically.

We carry out Wi-Fi surveys and security reviews for offices, schools and retail premises across Maharashtra.
